Lab Members

The following people work with the Sveinsson lab:

Bragi Sveinsson (PI)

Dr. Bragi Sveinsson is an Assistant Professor in Radiology at Harvard Medical School. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, where his focus area was Magnetic Resonance Imaging.

In his research, Dr. Sveinsson is mainly interested in imaging methods for the musculoskeletal and peripheral nervous systems, particularly using novel MRI techniques to study conditions associated with aging.

 

Karan Singh

Dr. Karan Singh is a Postdoc Researcher with Mukerji Lab for Neuroinfectious Diseases at MGH. He earned his MBBS degree from Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana, India.

He has participated in epilepsy research in India and currently serves as a Project Contact for SHINE study for Sveinsson Lab.

 

Julianna Gerold

Julianna Gerold is a Clinical Research Coordinator II and Program Manager at the MGH Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. She earned her BA in Psychology from Boston College in 2021.

She currently investigates functional connectivity and cognition through neuroimaging under Dr. Susie Huang, and collaborates with Dr. Sveinsson on a series of projects at the Center.
